From May 27th to june 3rd, the 58th Krakow Film Festival takes place in Krakow. This is one of the oldest and most recognizable events devoted to documentary, animated films and short stories. During the eight festival days, the viewers have the opportunity to watch approx. 250 films from Poland and from around the world in 4 competitions and 12 other sections, most of them screened in our country for the first time. The screenings are accompanied by meetings with filmmakers, workshops and exhibitions, concerts, events for the KFF Industry, including pitchings of new Polish documentary and animated projects.

Among the screened projects, the representation from Lower Silesia was naturally also present. The documentary by Agnieszka Mazanek, co-financed by the Odra-Film from the funds of the Lower Silesia Film Competition, devoted to the Wroclaw art group Luxus “Luxus. A simple story ” was very well-received. The film was screened in the polish Panorama section.
