Śnieżka Mountain

Śnieżka is the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains, the entire range of the Sudetes and the Czech Republic (1602 m above sea level).

Śnieżka (1602 m asl) – is a symbol of both Karpacz and the Karkonosze Mountains. It towers over Karpacz (200 m above Równia pod Śnieżką), it is a border peak, it is part of the peaks of the Crown of Polish Mountains and is the most characteristic peak in the Karkonosze Mountains. The Germans call this mountain Schneekoppe and the Czechs call it Sněžka.
