The principal photography of the Polish-Hungarian film SAINT by Sebastian Buttny has ended in Poznań and Gniezno., The action of the film occurs in the 80’s, Poland. The main cast includes Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Lena Góra, Dobromir Dymecki and Leszek Lichota. The director of photography Łukasz Gutt, awarded with the Golden Lion at the last year’s edition of the Gdynia Polish Film Festival, is in charge of the shooting -among others- in the gothic interiors of the Cathedral in Gniezno. Izabela Kiszka-Hoflik from IKH Pictures Production is the main producer of the film, while the TVP, Centrum Technologii Audiowizualnych, Dolnośląski Fundusz Filmowy (DCF) and Hungarian Matrix Film (producer László Kántor) are the co-producers.

 

The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, Hungarian Film Institute and supported by The Ministry Of Culture and National Heritage,  will be distributed by TVP Dystrybucja Kinowa. Region Wielkopolska is the film partner. The theatrical premiere is planned for the Spring 2023.
