Overwhelmed by the degradation of his beloved river, the musician decides to sail 1,300 kilometers in a traditional wooden boat to symbolically reclaim the wilderness for it. The 40-day journey allows one to experience the non-human natural world from the perspective of a man who listens intently. Immerse yourself in the primordial sounds of the river, forget for a moment about the scrambled everyday life. His path becomes an excuse to talk about rivers and human impact on the environment. He recalls the environmental disaster on the Oder River – one of the largest in modern European history. In the silence, in the solitude, in the sounds of spring awakening to life, in the voice of the river and the sound of the water, the protagonist seeks hope for such a future with balance. For himself, for his daughter, for the world. It’s a journey that raises questions about the freedom of rivers and people, the relationship between man and nature, ecosystem entanglements and the theme of wildness in man.
