Jakub Radej’s feature-length fiction debut, shot entirely in and around Legnica, tells a story of a broken heart, post-breakup depression, and the immense anger that can drive someone to harm the person they once loved. The protagonist of this tragicomedy, which tackles the themes of sexual violence and female revenge against men, is 30-year-old Ola (Maja Pankiewicz), a woman unable to imagine life outside her relationship with her beloved, who is abandoned by her 40-year-old partner Tomek (Robert Gulaczyk).
After many months of struggling with post-relationship trauma, she reconnects with a former friend (Małgorzata Gorol), and together the women devise a plan to take revenge on Ola’s ex-partner.
